Saturday the 2th of May, in occasion of the 48th edition of Vinum – International Fair of Wines of Piedmont, a double proposal of guided visit will let you know the history of the Cathedral of Saint Lawrence and its cultural heritage, The guided visit on the Romanic bell tower, up to 45 meters of height, by walking the ancient stairs located between the two bell towers which have been built in 10th and 12th centuries. After having admired the city of Alba from the highest tower of the city, you will descend and you will continue with the visit of the Treasure Room, a very little known area which preserves a lot of silver objects and vestments: reliquaries, furnishings and liturgical vestments made mostly between the 17th and 20th centuries by master goldsmiths, mostly from Turin, and local and transalpine manufacturers, artistical evidences of an important heritage of the Diocese of Alba.
The afternoon will end, for all the partecipants, with a taste of herbal teas and tipical products of Piedmont in the flowered garden of the cathedral rectory.

Participation conditions: during the guided visits two groups with limited spots will be created. Reservation is required. On the home page of the museum website you may find the ARTSUPP online ticket shop where you may reserve the tickets.
