Eyes open and minds alert! The clue hunt through the streets of the city begins!

The Clue Hunt is an educational and recreational activity that participants carry out independently using a dedicated kit. The activity is aimed at families with children, but it is also suitable for groups of friends and curious tourists who wish to discover the highlights of the historic center in a playful way.
The kit’s contents will guide each family‑crew along a route featuring the most beautiful and significant corners of the historic center, made up of 14 stages (7 “transit” stages and 7 “riddle” stages). The aim is to help families discover the history and art of the city of Alba, while encouraging different generations to play together. The activity takes place on foot in the historic center of Alba and involves walking about one to one and a half kilometers along completely flat city streets.

In the 7 transit stages, it will be sufficient to document the passage with a panoramic photo of the location, while in the 7 riddle stages participants must photograph a single detail of the place — the solution to the riddle.
Stage 14 is the Church of San Giuseppe, where, once the final riddle is solved, the kit can be returned and the score validated, at which point all solution keys will be provided.
The duration of the Hunt varies (since it is an activity carried out independently), but on average takes between one and two hours. For this reason, we recommend picking up the kit at the beginning of opening hours (if necessary, the kit may also be returned the following day during the hours of the Game Desk).

WHEN
During all Vinum days, it will be possible to pick up/return the kit during the Game Desk opening hours: from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:30 to 18:30 (on Sunday, April 26 and Sunday, May 3 only in the afternoon, from 14:30 to 18:30).

WHERE
The Clue Hunt takes place using a dedicated kit that is picked up and returned at the Church of San Giuseppe: a former abandoned place of worship now restored and home to the cultural center of the same name.
It is located at Via Vernazza 6, Alba (CN), just a few meters from Piazza Risorgimento, the so‑called “Cathedral Square,” where the tourist office, the town hall, and the Cathedral of San Lorenzo are located.

COSTS AND RESERVATION
The cost of one kit is €10 and may be used by a crew of up to 6 people. From the 7th participant onward, two or more kits are required.
The cost is reduced to €5 for those who participate in the Alba Sotterranea tours.
