INCLUDED IN THE FULL TASTING CARNET
Vinum is an event where wine connoisseurs, gourmets and those who wish to get fascinated by the art and culture of lower Piedmont, will meet. They will be cradled by the beauty of vineyards and hills which, in 2014, where awarded by Unesco as World Heritage Site.
It will be possible to experience wine tastings in several locations of the town, with a path throughout the historical centre; the great wines of the territory of Alba, Langhe, Roero and Monferrato will be the main characters.
The Consortium for the Protection of Roero will present two wines: the Roero Arneis DOCG and the Roero DOCG.
Arneis and Nebbiolo are two grape varieties which underlie the Docg; autochthonous grape varieties, typical of this territory, cultivated since centuries and processed with great care by the Roero wine-makers.
The wine tastings will be handled and conducted by the Italian Association of Sommeliers.
